Father Murphy was originally built Gdynska Shipyards Poland in 1968. She was constructed and certified under norkse veritas as a deep sea fishing trawler, which she successfully operated as for 25 years. In October 2000 her present owner purchased the vessel and over the next 3 years after extensive renovation & redesign, are to veritas standard. Produced Murphy as she is today. A traditional Topsail Schooner.
