Owners version with large stateroom aft cabin. Owned by same family since new. 1984 London boat show model. Launched April 1985, Antibe, France. Mediterranean based since launch.
During last 15 years, only used 3 weeks per year and dry sailed, i.e. launched and recovered for the 3 week period only. Extensive refit in 2005 – 2006 including: New hatch and window glass, new striped flooring, new sail wardrobe, new bimini top and frame, rebuilt engine, new berth cushions, new navigation instrumentation ( Ray Marine ST40 and repeater), New DSC VHF Simrad RD 68. New genoa roller reefing. This yacht is ready for immediate use. The specification of the layout is pretty standard per the specs on this website so I will only list the relevant things:
Deck gear: Masts and boom are Selden aluminium original spars.
Winches are Barlow. Mains are No 27, minors are No 25. Mast winches are Andersson per Selden spec. 4 x winch handles.
Spinnaker pole and running gear.
Blocks are Lewmar and barton.
Sails – UK sails genoa, main and mizzen. Very light use, less than 2 weeks total. Original self tacking jib (unused). Sail covers for mizzen and main.
Dinghy – 3 man Achilles, Yamaha 4 outboard.
Stainless steel davits. Manual launch winches.
Transom hung stainless steel boarding ladders.
Liferaft – Avon 6 man valise.
Anchor – main: CQR 60lb with 100m chain. – kedge: 40lb Danforth with 20m chain and 50 m warp. Lofrans tigress electrical winch with remote (locker and cockpit)
Lines: 2 x 20m warps forward, 2 x 10m warps aft. 2 x 30m warp mid.
6 x fenders new 2008.
Diesel, water and outboard fluid containers. Gas bottles x 2.
Safety: 6 x life jackets, 2 x harnesses, 2 x jack stays, RORC offshore flare pack, ( located under port side saloon berth) 3 x fire extinguishers, 1 x fire blanket. 2 x water proof torches. First aid kit and manual.
Navigation: Raymarine ST40 wind / depth/ log/ environment/ battery.
Garmin GPS
Walker stanav (still useful for dead reckoning calcs)
Silva hand held nav station compass, offshore instruments hand held compass, Urania Rivierra steering compass.
KVH data scope – monocular, range finder, compass logger, site.
Chart plotters, dividers etc
Electrrical: 4 of 12V 90A marine batteries (replaced May 2009), in two banks.100A alternator. 17A mains shoreline charger. 50m 3 core shore line power cable with IP65 ( blue) 16A single phase 3 pin sockets / plugs. Gender bender cables for coupling to marina power outlets.
Spares: a very substantial catalogue of spare parts ( including a full inventory of seals for every pump on the yacht!), conveniently segregated and packed into sealed plastic bins. Located – under starboard saloon berth and under forward sail locker.
Toolkit: socket set, wrench set, tool roll, sail repair kit, workmate box with vice, wood working tools, electrical tool kit with DVM. Located under nav station chart table.
Consumables: sealants, paints and varnishes ( colour matched), cleaners, brushes, sand paper etc. Located under forward cabin double berth. |

This vessel is proven for offshore passages and is equipped accordingly. Built in South Africa and custom finished at the factory to a very high standard. She is the owner version with two Kingsize berths and one double berth. Two heads with showers and a full size bath. Saloon has wrap around table and galley is fully equipped with twin sinks, domestic oven, 2 plate propane burner, Bosch microwave stainless steel oven. Refrigeration consists of a front loading Fridge/ Freezer and a large top loading freezer. Electronics incude radar, Chartplotter/GPS, Autopilot, 1800w Inverter, VHF, SSB, Pactor Modem for email and many other features you would expect in a yacht designed to do the miles in comfort. Twin 21HP Nanni Diesel motors. House Batteries are Absorbed Glass Matt providing 840 AMP Hrs with separate starting batteries. Four solar panels 85watt each on carbon fibre bimini and wind generator fitted. Windlass is a Maxwell 2200 with 85 meters of chain and several anchor options. Other features too numerous to list. Owners have been living offshore for 8 years and as they enter their 7th decade believe it is time they spent some time with their grandchildren, so are placing their loved vessel on the market.
